Getting Started with Solidroad: Onboarding Guide for Learners
Last updated: July 7, 2026
This guide walks through getting set up as a new Solidroad learner - from accepting your invite and logging in, to navigating the platform and tracking your progress. Steps 1-2 cover getting into your account, steps 3-4 cover navigating the platform, and steps 5-6 cover getting help and managing your profile.
Step 1: Accept your invitation and access your account
Before you can log in, you'll need to activate your account from the invite you were sent.
What to do:
Check your inbox for an invitation email from Solidroad.
Click Accept Invitation to join the platform. If the button doesn't work, use the "click here" link in the same email.
Already accepted your invite? Go directly to app.solidroad.com and log in with your registered email and password.

Why it matters: Accepting your invite links your account to your organization's Solidroad workspace, so your assigned simulations and progress show up correctly once you log in.
Step 2: Find your assignments on the Home page
Once logged in, you'll land on the Home page - your central hub for training and progress tracking.
What to do:
Check the Home page for any simulations assigned to you by your admins.
Complete assigned simulations at your own pace.
Depending on your organization's settings, you may earn a certificate once all assigned simulations are complete.

Why it matters: The Home page is where your required training lives, so checking it first ensures you don't miss any assignments your admins expect you to complete.
Key term: Simulation - An interactive training scenario built by your admins; think of it as a practice conversation or role-play you complete at your own pace.

Step 3: Track your progress
Once you've started completing simulations, you can monitor how you're doing over time.
What to do:
Head to My Performance in the left navigation panel.
Review the simulations you've completed, your scores and results, and your performance trends over time.
Why it matters: Tracking your progress helps you see where you're improving and where you might want to practice more before moving on.

Step 4: Explore more training
Beyond what's assigned to you, there's a full library of scenarios available to practice with.
What to do:
Go to the Simulations section in the left navigation panel.
Browse all scenarios available to you (not just the ones assigned) to practice additional skills or revisit ones you've already completed.
Why it matters: Practicing beyond your assigned simulations lets you build skills at your own pace and revisit scenarios where you want more repetition.
Step 5: Get help
If you run into questions or issues, support is built directly into the platform.
What to do:
Click Get Help in the bottom left corner to open the Solidroad Support Chatbox.
Use it to start a live chat with support, browse help articles and onboarding guides, submit a bug report, request a feature, or access the knowledge base.

Why it matters: Having support, guides, and feedback tools in one place means you don't have to leave the platform to get unstuck.
Step 6: Update your account and switch role views
Your profile settings and role views are managed from the same area of the platform.
What to do:
Switch role views: Click your role at the bottom left corner next to your profile icon to toggle between views (only applicable if you've been assigned more than one role).
Update account settings: Click your profile icon to update your account settings or sign out of the platform.
Why it matters: If you have more than one role, switching views ensures you're seeing the right set of simulations and permissions for the task at hand.
What's next?
You're all set to begin your learning journey in Solidroad. From assigned simulations to progress tracking and certification, everything you need is in the left navigation panel.
Need help? Click Get Help in the left panel at any time to access live chat, FAQs, and step-by-step guides.
