How to View Hiring Reports

Last updated: July 6, 2026

This guide walks through viewing and customizing hiring reports in Solidroad - from reading key metrics and applying filters, to exporting data for further analysis.

Getting Started:

Before you can view any hiring metrics, you need to get to the right place in the platform.

What to do:

  • Log in to your Solidroad admin account.

  • Click Hiring in the left panel, then select the Reports tab.

Why it matters: All hiring metrics live under this tab, so starting here ensures you're looking at hiring data rather than general training reports, which are tracked separately.

Reading the key metrics:

Once you're on the Reports page, you'll see statistical data and graphs summarizing candidate performance.

What to do:

  • On the upper-left side of the page, review the three metrics: Assessments completed, Average score, and Time saved, each with its own graph.

  • Click Assessments Completed to see a graphical view of simulations finished by all candidates.

  • Click Average score to see the average score across all candidates.

  • Click Time saved to see the total time candidates spent on their simulations.

  • Hover over any dot on a graph to see additional details in a pop-up.

Why it matters: These three metrics give you a quick, at-a-glance read on candidate engagement and performance before you dig into filtered or granular data.

Customizing the reports view:

The filters on the right side of the page let you narrow the report to exactly what you need.

What to do:

  • Use the date range filter to select 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, or a Custom range - the selected dates will appear on the graph's X-axis.

  • Use the dropdown filters - Filter by candidate, Filter by Channel, Filter by assessment, and Filter by Scorecard - to narrow the trends shown in the graph.

Below the graphs, you can see the raw data behind the visuals.

What to do:

  • Scroll to the lower part of the Reporting page to view the full data table.

  • Note that this table updates automatically based on whatever filters you've applied above.

Why it matters: Filtering lets you isolate results for a specific candidate, channel, or assessment, so you can spot trends that would otherwise be buried in the full dataset. The graphs give you the trend, but the table gives you the exact numbers behind it - useful when you need precise figures rather than a visual estimate.

Exporting the data:

Once you have the view you want, you can export it for use outside Solidroad.

What to do:

  • Click the Export tab.

  • In the pop-up window, customize the data to be exported. (Note: the date range can't be changed here - return to the date filters in Step 3 to adjust it first.)

  • Click Export Data. You'll receive an email with a download link.

  • Once downloaded, open the CSV file in a spreadsheet program like Excel or Google Sheets.

Why it matters: Exporting lets you analyze hiring data alongside other systems or share it with stakeholders who don't have Solidroad access.
