Login and Access

  • How do I log into Solidroad as an admin?
Open your browser in Incognito or Private Mode and go to app.solidroad.com. Enter your registered email and password, then follow the prompts to log in.

  • What should I do if I can’t log in?
Double-check your email and password. If you're still having trouble, click “Forgot password?” or “Forgot email?” on the login screen to reset your credentials.

  • What if I get logged out unexpectedly?
This can happen due to inactivity or browser issues. Simply log in again at app.solidroad.com.

  • Can I access Solidroad on mobile?
Solidroad works best on desktop browsers. Mobile access is possible, but features are limited.

Browser and System Requirements

  • Which browser should I use?
Solidroad supports the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge.

  • The platform isn't loading correctly. What should I do?
    Try the following:

    • Use Incognito Mode

    • Refresh the page

    • Switch to another browser

    • Clear your cache and cookies

  • Why is the platform freezing or loading slowly?
This may be caused by slow internet, low system memory, or too many open tabs. Close unused apps, refresh the page, or switch browsers.

  • What if the simulation builder is unresponsive?
Refresh the browser or try another supported browser in Incognito Mode. If the issue continues, take a screenshot and contact support.

  • How can I prepare my device for Solidroad?
Use a supported, updated browser. Close unnecessary tabs and ensure a stable internet connection.

Monitoring Learner Progress and Results

  • How do I track learner progress and scores?
Go to the Reports tab in the Admin panel to view progress, completions, and performance metrics.

  • Why can’t I see a learner’s score?
Ensure the learner submitted the simulation. Refresh the page or wait a few minutes for the results to sync.

  • How can I check if a learner passed a simulation?
The learner’s status will appear as “Completed” or “In Progress” in the Reports tab, along with their score.

  • Can I export learner results?
Yes. Reports can be exported in Excel or CSV formats.

Simulation Attempts, Timing, and Retakes

  • Can I set a time limit for simulations?
Yes. You can configure this in the simulation’s advanced settings.

  • What happens if the time limit is exceeded?
The simulation closes automatically and scores based on what was completed.

  • Can I limit how many times a learner attempts a simulation?
Yes. You can set a maximum number of attempts during assignment setup.

  • What if a learner hits their attempt limit?
You can grant additional attempts by editing their training record or simulation settings.

  • Can learners retake a simulation if they submit it by mistake?
Only if additional attempts are allowed. Otherwise, a new attempt must be manually enabled.

  • What happens if a learner submits a simulation early by accident?
The attempt is recorded. You may allow a retake by adjusting their attempt settings.

  • Will progress be saved if a simulation crashes or closes?
In most cases, partial progress is saved. The learner can try logging back in, or you can check their status in Reports.

  • Can simulations be paused if a learner loses internet connection?
No. Simulations cannot be paused, but learners may reconnect and continue. If not, an admin can allow another attempt.

Assigning Training and Managing Content

  • How do I assign training to learners?
Go to the Assignments section, select learners or groups, and assign the appropriate simulations.

  • Can I control the order of simulations?
Yes. You can guide the order using assignment instructions or training structure.

  • How do learners know when training is assigned?
New simulations appear on their dashboards. You can also notify them via internal messages or email.

Technical Issues and Support

  • What should I do if I encounter a glitch or error?

    • Try the following:

      • Use Incognito Mode

      • Switch to another browser

      • Clear your cache

      • Restart your device

      • If the issue persists, take a screenshot and report it to your support team.

  • Who should I contact for help?
Reach out to your internal admin or message the Solidroad support team via the in-app “Get Help” tab, or reach us at [email protected].

Feedback and Suggestions

  • How can I share feedback about the platform?
We welcome your input. Use the in-app “Get Help” tab or email us at [email protected] with your suggestions.

Best Practices

  • What should I do before assigning simulations?

    • Review settings (time limits, scoring, attempts)

    • Test the simulation yourself

    • Remind learners of browser and internet requirements

  • What if learners report slow loading or technical issues?
    Recommend the following:

    • Use Incognito Mode

    • Switch to a supported browser

    • Check internet speed

    • Refresh or clear cache

    • Track repeated issues to identify trends.

Simulation Scoring and Editing

  • Can I use multiple scorecards in a simulation?
Not yet. This feature is in development and will be announced soon.

  • Can I manually adjust a scorecard’s grading value?
No. The system calculates scoring based on the configured top score and rating bands. You can edit the descriptions but not the values.

  • Can I edit a simulation after it’s created?
Yes. Admins can edit content, settings, and structure at any time.

  • Can scorecards be edited at any time?
Yes. However, edits only affect future simulation attempts.
