Solidroad FAQ
Updated yesterday

Here are quick answers to the most common questions Solidroad users have about managing and using the training platform β€” from logging in and managing training to tracking learner progress, troubleshooting technical issues, and more.

πŸ” Login & Access

1. How do I log into Solidroad as an admin?

Open a browser in Incognito or Private Mode and go to app.solidroad.com.

A login prompt will appear. You can just enter your registered email and password, then follow the on-screen prompts to access your account.

2. What should I do if I can't log in?

  • Could you double-check your email and password?

  • If you still can't access your account, click the "Forgot password?" or "Forgot email?" link on the login screen and follow the prompts to recover your access.

3. What should I do if I get logged out suddenly?

This may happen due to inactivity or browser issues. Log in again at app.solidroad.com

4. Can I access Solidroad on mobile?

While possible, Solidroad works best on a desktop or laptop browser. Mobile devices have limited functionality.

🌐 Browser & System Requirements

5. Which browser should I use for the best experience?

Solidroad works well on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari. You can always use the latest version of your browser.

6. The platform isn't loading properly β€” what should I do?

Try the following steps:

  • Use Incognito Mode

  • Refresh the page

  • Switch to another supported browser

  • Clear your cache and cookies

7. Why is my screen freezing or loading slowly?

This could be due to slow internet, system memory usage, or having too many open tabs. Try closing unused applications, refreshing the page, or switching browsers.

8. What should I do if the page or simulation builder is unresponsive?

Refresh your browser, try another supported browser, or use Incognito Mode. If the issue persists, capture a screenshot and report it to the support team.

9. How can I prepare my device before using the Solidroad platform?

  • Use a supported and updated browser.

  • Close unnecessary tabs or apps

  • Please make sure your internet is stable.

πŸ“Š Monitoring Learner Progress, Results & Scores

10. How do I track learner progress and simulation scores?

You can access the Reports Tab section from the Admin panel to view learner completions, progress, and scores.

11. Why can't I see a learner's score after simulation?

Ensure the simulation was fully completed and submitted. Refresh the page or wait a few minutes for the results to sync.

12. How do I know if a learner passed or completed their simulation?

Could you check the learner's status in the Reports? It will show as "Completed" or "In Progress", along with their score.

13. Can I export learner reports or results?

Yes. You can save the data in Excel/CSV formats using the Export.

▢️ Simulation Attempts, Timing, & Retakes

14. Can I set a time limit for a simulation?

Yes. You can configure a time limit when creating or editing a simulation in the advanced settings.

15. What happens if a learner exceeds the simulation time limit?

The simulation will automatically close and record the results within the allowed time.

16. Can I set how many times a learner can attempt a simulation?

Yes. You can define the maximum number of attemptsAssignmentmulation setup or Assignment.

17. What should I do if a learner reaches their attempt limit?

You can grant additional attempts by editing the learner's training record or simulation settings.

18. Can learners retake simulations if they submitted by mistake?

This only works if extra attempts are allowed. Otherwise, a new effort must be manually enabled.

19. What happens if a learner accidentally submits a simulation early?

Their attempt is recorded. You may allow a retake by adjusting their attempt settings if needed.

20. Will learner progress be saved if a simulation crashes or closes unexpectedly?

Depending on the simulation type, some progress may be saved. Learners can try logging back in, or you can check their status via Reports.

21. Can simulations be paused if a learner's internet disconnects?

No. Simulations cannot be paused, but learners can try to reconnect and continue. If not, admins may need to assign another attempt.

πŸ—‚οΈ Assigning Training & Managing Content

22. How do I assign training to SimuAssignment learners?

Go to Assignment, select learners or groups, and assign the appropriate simulations.

23. Can I control the order in which learners take simulations?

Yes. You can guide the order via assignment instructions depending on your training structure.

24. How will learners know when new training is available?

Newly assigned simulations will automatically appear on their dashboards. You may also send internal notifications or emails.

πŸ“© Technical Issues & Support

25. What should I do if I encounter errors or glitches?

  • Use Incognito Mode

  • Switch browsers

  • Clear your cache and cookies

  • Restart your device

  • If the problem continues, could you capture a screenshot and report it to your support team?

26. Who should I contact for support issues?

Could you contact your internal system administrator or message the Solidroad support team?

πŸ’¬ Feedback & System Suggestions

27. How can I share feedback about the system?

We would love to hear your feedback! Please send your suggestions to the Solidroad support team in-app via chat (click Get Help) or by sending it to the [email protected] email.

πŸ’‘ General Tips & Best Practices

28. What are the best practices before assigning simulations to learners?

  • Double-check simulation settings (attempts, time limits, scoring)

  • Test the simulation yourself before the rollout

  • Communicate browser and internet requirements clearly to learners

29. What should I do if learners report slow loading or technical issues?

Advise them to:

  • Use Incognito Mode

  • Switch to a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari)

  • Check internet speed

  • Refresh the page or clear the cache

  • Let you know the outcome so you can track recurring issues

πŸ“ Simulation Scoring and Editing

30. Can I add more than one scorecard to a simulation?

For now, it is no. But Solidroad is developing this feature, and everyone will be informed soon.

31. Can I modify the graded marking value manually?

No. The system will divide the score based on the entered top score and categorise it as poor, average, or firm. You can edit the description but not the corresponding value.

32. Can simulations be edited at any time?

Yes. Admins can edit simulations at any time. You can update the content, scenarios, or details even after they are created.

34. Can scorecards be edited anytime?

Yes. Scorecards can also be edited at any time. However, changes will affect how future simulation attempts are scored.
