How to create and manage roles for simulations

Roles define a user's specific job or involvement within a simulation. These roles help tailor the training experience and ensure that each user has the appropriate responsibilities during the simulation.

Steps to Create and Manage Roles:

  1. Log in to your Soliroad admin account. Once logged in, go to the ‘Settings’ tab and select ‘Learners roles’.

2. Click the ‘New learner role’ button to start a new role.

  • Enter the necessary information, such as the role name and description, and click ‘Create’ to store the role.

3. Assign Role to a Simulation

  • Go to the ‘Participants’ step during the simulation creation process and select the role you’ve created from the dropdown menu. You can edit the role anytime by clicking on ‘Manage Role’.

4. Edit or Delete a Role

To edit or delete a role, return to the ‘Settings’ tab and select ‘Learners roles’.

  • Click ‘Edit’ to make changes, or hit ‘Delete’ if no longer needed.
