Follow the steps to create simulations:
Login to your Solidroad Admin account
2. Once successfully logged in, go to the ‘Home’ tab and click the from Actions ‘Create Simulations’.
3. You will be routed to the four steps to create your simulation.
i. First, you have to complete the ‘Simulation type’ page.
a. Channel – from the dropdown menu, choose one (Email, Phone, Chat, or Video)
b. Difficulty - from the dropdown menu, choose one (Easy, Medium, or hard)
c. Scorecard – from the dropdown menu, select one from your created scorecard or the built-in scorecard. You may also make a scorecard at the same time; just click the ‘Create New Scorecard’ (Tutorial video and manual on How to make a scorecard or Create scorecards are available on our Help center)
d. Customer language – from the dropdown menu, choose one language (Only some languages are supported for phone and video)
Once you’re done completing the ‘Simulation type’ step, click the ‘Next’ tab so that you can be routed to the next step ‘Participant’
ii. On the ‘Participants’ page, you must complete the following:
a. Role – from the dropdown menu, choose one from your created roles or the built-in roles. You may also manage roles without leaving the page by clicking the ‘Manage role’ (Tutorial video and manual on Creating learner roles, teams, and Groups are available on our Help center)
b. Teams - from the dropdown menu, choose one from your created or built-in teams. You may also manage teams without leaving the page by clicking the ‘Manage team’ (Tutorial video and manual on Creating learner roles, teams, and Groups is available on our Help center)
c. Prebuilt Persona – From the dropdown menu, you can choose one persona or simply click the photo of your preferred persona.
Note: If you choose a persona name from the drop-down menu, the name, description, and voice box will be auto-populated based on the system’s saved persona, and this cannot be edited from the page unless you go to the library tab > Persona tab and you choose the persona and edit it.
Another option is to choose the photo of your preferred persona, and the system will allow you to edit the name, description, and voice box.
You may also manage your persona by clicking the ‘Manage personas’, and the system will route you to the Library tab > Persona tab. You can create a new persona to use for your simulation/roleplay. (Tutorial video and manual will be available soon on the Help Center)
Once you’ve completed the ‘Participant’ step, click the ‘Next’ tab, and you’ll be routed to the next step, ‘Focus area’.
iii. In the ‘Focus area', you can write a scenario prompt, pick a skill, or generate a scenario from uploaded content.
a. Scenario prompt – you can write a short role-play prompt for the AI.
b. Pick a skill - you can choose up to 3 skills you want to focus on and develop during the roleplay.
c. From uploaded content – You can generate a simulation based on uploaded content. (The suggested file format is pdf/docx.)
Once you’ve completed the ‘Focus area’ step, click the ‘Next’ tab and you’ll be routed to the last step ‘Preview’.
vi. On ‘Preview’, you can review and edit the roleplay you created.
a. You can edit the generated scenario according to your preference and type as much as you want.
b. You have ‘Learner controls’, which allows you to click ‘Add learner instructions’ and select ‘Learner speaks first’.
c. You have the ‘Backend systems’. Click the ‘Add backend system’ to add the system name, attribute, and value. You can add multiple backend systems.
4. Once you have completed all the steps, hit the ‘Save’ tab, and your created simulation will automatically be saved in the Library tab > Simulations.
i. To start the simulation, click your created simulation, or you may choose from the save simulations in the Library tab > Simulations and hit the ‘Start Simulations’ tab.
Following these steps, you can create custom simulations tailored to your training needs, enhance learner engagement, and track performance effectively. Once your simulation is saved, you can quickly launch it from the Library tab to provide impactful learning experiences.

User manual definition of terms:
Simulation: Solidroad’s virtual roleplay environment is used for training, practice, or testing.
Channel: The medium for the simulation (phone, email, chat, or video).
Difficulties: Different levels of simulation complexity (easy, medium, hard) are offered to match the learners' skills and help them progress.
Scorecard: A set of criteria used to measure performance during AI simulations.
Roles: The user’s job/involvement in the context of a simulation.
Teams: Groups set by the admin, linked to trainees' roles, that configure the simulation based on their tasks and responsibilities.
Prebuilt Persona: A pre-configured character in role-play AI simulations, designed with specific traits and behaviours to simulate real-life interactions.
